Charlene Lovato

Charlene Rose Lovato was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Charlene was born on May 15, 1979, to parents Edward and Cheryl Lovato.

Charlene was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister, Nina, Auntie, niece, cousin, and good friend.

Charlene was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and was raised in San Ysidro and San Luis, New Mexico where her grand father had a ranch. She then moved to Aztec, New Mexico where she began raising her family. She received her G.E.D. and graduated from San Juan College with her Cosmetology Degree. She loved working at Wecks, where she built another family. With that being said, she took great pride in all her accomplishments.

To all who knew Charlene, she was a kind and loving soul who always wanted the best for everyone around her. Charlene was just a small pebble but made big impacting ripples. She meant many things to many people and always tried to spread her love making new friends along the way. Charlene loved to share her thoughts and experience no matter how good or bad. She was very inspirational and always kept a positive attitude and always lived life to the fullest.

Charlene was always blessing others with her generosity, always so giving, she had a witty personality, a crazy sense of humor, gifting her love, making people laugh with her funny jokes, she was always a shoulder to lean on when someone needed her.

Charlene’s favorite color was red, she loved roses, coffee- making her famous charbucks, riding, reading books, writing, crocheting, cooking and trying different recipes, camping, gardening (even though she couldn’t keep a plant alive), music, singing, car karaoke, dancing, dressing up, pursuing her passions, cutting hair, was an avid jewelry collector, watching documentaries and crime shows, she did not like people in her kitchen, using her pots and pans or to watch her, she would always say “don’t look at me”, and boy you knew if she was biting her cheek she was thinking hard.

One of Charlene’s lifelong dreams was to go to Ireland if she ever won the Lottery.

Charlene’s world revolved around her sons Isaiah and Matthew as well as her Husband Randy and her dogs Lucy, Luna and Fezzik. Charlene cherished her family, she had a unique individual bond with each of her nieces, just everyone she met she left her mark on. One of her greatest accomplishments she was super proud of was getting her Grampa Isa’s Ranch back for her Lovato family and sons. We will continue to work hard for Charlene to keep the Lovato family legacy alive for generations.

Charlene is preceded in death by her three grandparents Isa & Rebecca Lovato and Henry O’Connor.

Charlene is survived by her husband Randy Pardo, sons Matthew and Isaiah Lovato, God daughters Ava Rae and Isaaca Romero, her three sisters Marcia Lovato, Carmen Aragon (Chris) and Anna Lovato (Joe), parents Edward Lovato (Margaret), Cheryl Lovato (Jesse), mother-in-law Elena Zubiate, sister-in-law Lizeth Soto (Daniel), brother-in-law Ruben Zubiate, nieces and nephews Alexis, PJ, Tatiana, Angelique, Destiny, Angel, Nestorita, Arielle, Andrea, Adrian, Monique, Joseph and Antonio.

Charlene was loved by so many and will be missed dearly. This is not goodbye; we will see you later!

The services for our beloved Charlene Rose Lovato will be held on December 4, 2021 at St. Josephs church in Aztec , NM. at 9:30 am. It will be a rosary and then mass. Following the services there will be a last memorial ride for her for those of you that ride she would have loved anyone to join and for those that don't you can head over to parish hall next door for lunch to celebrate her life and share memories.

The burial will be in San Ysidro, NM. the following day on December 5, 2021 at 1:30 pm where we will lay her to rest.
