Suzanne Grimes

Suzanne Lee Grimes (Suzie) of Farmington passed away on November 2, 2021.
Suzie was born in Hobbs, NM. in 1953 to Jack and Elinor Simpson.
Suzie is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Rod Grimes, sister Cindy Pinkett (Rod), daughters Jennifer Brasher (Tony), Cindy Estrada (Aaron), granddaughters Shaylee Estes, Aalysa and Caylee Estrada, brother-in-law Mike Grimes (Susan), mother-in-law Clara Grimes and sister-in-law Diana McClellan (Jason) and Collene Halldorson (Al) and several nieces and nephews, along with grand niece and nephew Ella and Jackson Pinkett.
Suzie was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Elinor Simpson.
Suzie loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved the great outdoors, skiing, dancing and her music. She especially loved the red rocks of Southeast Utah, hiking the many canyons and her love of boating on Lake Powell. Suzie was always looking forward to her next adventure.
Suzie was a kind, caring, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her wonderful smile, loving laughter and dancing feet will be sorely missed by all.
From our family a special thank you to Chapter AE PEO, the devoted staff from Basin Hospice, care givers Miranda Johnson and Bernie Wages and special friends Leslie Thompson and Rick Palmer.
A celebration of Suzie's life will be held at Pinon Hills Community Church on November 26th at 10:00 AM..
