Abenilde Archuleta

Abenilde (Bennie) Archuleta, age 92 of Bloomfield, NM passed away on Saturday November 9, 2024. Abenilde was born on May 1, 1932, to Ismel and Beatris Muniz in Pump Canyon, NM. Abenilde married Eugene Archuleta on May 23, 1953, they had five children, Gloria, Isidor, Yolanda, Anthony and Diann. She stayed at home to raise her children and later cleaned cabins at the Soaring Eagle Lodge for many years. She also sold tamales at the power plant. Abernilde was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Eugene, her parents, her son Anthony and a grandson Isidor Archuleta Jr., one sister and three brothers. She leaves behind her daughters, Gloria (Frank) Florez, Yoland (Gary) Bingham and Diann (James) Torres. One son, Isidor (Ginger) Archuleta. Grandchildren, Fidel (Deidra), Florence (Matt) Francella (Elario), Ryan (Margaret), Bryan, Candice (Omar), Nathan (Sunni), Dustin, Bernadette (Fernando), Benjamin (Matraca), Alaina (Kat), Anthony (Macey). Twenty-nine great grandchildren. Sisters, Estella (Gene) Gross and Annie (Joe) Martinez. 

A Rosary service will be recited on Thursday November 14, 2024, at 9:30 am followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am from St. Rose Catholic Church, 7378 US-64, Blanco, NM 87412, Interment St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be her granddaughters, Florence Martin, Francella Salazar, Bernadette Enriquez, Alaina Condit, Mercedez Florez and Carmel Salazar.
