Alex Lovato 91, our beloved, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 10, 2023, surrounded by his family. His greatest accomplishments were working hard alongside his wife to provide for their twelve children. When he was able, his favorite place to be was "God's County" which is in San Luis NM where he was born and raised. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing with his sons. He was a faithful servant to Our Lord and Savior and loved our Blessed Mother. He was a lifelong parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. One of his favorite motto's was "a family that prays together stays together". He worked hard, played hard and lived life to the fullest.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruth Lovato, his twelve children, Ed (Velma), Beverly (Johnnie), Alex (Cathy), Arnold, Sandra (Joe), Patrick (Monica), Joy (Marty), Nathan (Cindy), Charlie (Kristi), Michelle (Dale), Karen, Regina (Sammy). He has 29 grandkids, 31 great grandkids and a bonus daughter, Sindi Salazar. Sisters, Reina Miera and Rafelita Taylor.
