Angela V. Gurule

Angela V. Gurule of Bloomfield, New Mexico passed away peacefully on September 13, 2023, with her family by her side. She was born on January 27,1942, to Felimon and Leonarda Gurule of Pilar, New Mexico.

Angela’s life was devoted to her children as a stay-at-home mom. When her children were older, she started working for the Bloomfield School system for many years. When she wasn’t working, her past time was contributing to her community that she loved, as well as gardening, crocheting, reading, catching up with friends but most of all being with family.

Angela was predeceased in death by her parents Felimon and Leonarda Gurule, brothers Leroy and Ruben Gurule, and Granddaughter Simmie Gurule.

Angela is survived by her daughters, Marlene Gurule-Galindo (Alex), Norene Gurule (Duane), and Roxanne Gurule (Steven), Grandson Isaiah Gurule (Tori), and great granddaughter Everly Gurule, sisters Becky Acosta (Rudy), Esther Torres, and brother David Gurule (Diana), along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 11:00am, at the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
