Anthony Valdez, 56, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on August 7, 2024, in Farmington, New Mexico. Anthony was born on October 5, 1967, in Farmington, New Mexico, to parents Elisario & Janie Valdez.
Anthony loved everyone around him. He was very proud of starting work at the age of 15 for Sierra Oilfield Services and worked there for 23 years. He would also work for Echo Ditch with his brother Gerald. He was very hard working, fixing anything he could for the people he loved. He will always be known for his love of music, singing, dancing, and finding the joy in life. He had a love for cooking and making sure everyone around him was fed. He brought so much laughter and love to those around him, making sure everyone had a good time. He spoke his mind to a fault at times but loved everyone wholeheartedly. He never shied away from apologies and was always quick to forgive. His faith and his wife was and will always be his world. Anthony is a true fighter that was able to go out on his own terms at peace knowing he would be fine with God and his family, watching over us, keeping us safe.
Anthony is preceded in death by his parents Elisario and Janie Valdez, brother Stephan Valdez, and sister Darlene.
Anthony is survived by his wife Ronda Valdez, stepson Daniel Kinkade, stepdaughter Melissa Kinkade, brothers Ernest (Janette) and Gerald, sisters Cordie (Joe), Bellinda, and Maggie (Troy), grandchildren Domanick, James, Lilly, Amelia and Emma.
We will always love and miss you, Anthony. You will forever be in our hearts. Rest in peace.
