Antoinette R Dixon aka “Toni”

Born In Shiprock New Mexico on March 16^th, 1975 to Eleanor Johnson Norman Dixon into the Salt Clan, for the Mexican Clan.

Toni was born and raised in Nenahnezad, NM. She resided in Las Cruces, NM and worked for New Mexico State University in the Trio Upward Bound program for 25 + years. Toni received her Bachelors of Business Administration in computer systems in 1999 and Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance in 2000. She also received her Master’s degree in educational leadership and administration with the concentration in higher education administration in 2014.

Antoinette Dixon was preceded in death by her father Norman Dixon; grandparents Harry Johnson & Lydia Johnson; Charley Dixon & May Dixon.

She is survived by her daughter Taryn Kie; Mother Eleanor Johnson; Brother Forrestt Greg Johnson; Sisters Mitra Aspaas and Shihomi Yazzie.

Join us to celebrate Antoinette aka Toni’s life at the Open Bible Baptist Church 11am Friday March 31^st, 2023. Immediately after burial will take place at Kirtland – Fruitland Cemetery at 1:30pm. After graveside there will be a reception to honor Antoinette at the Nenahnezad Chapter House at 3pm.
