Audry Elliott Adair slipped away peacefully surrounded with love after a brave battle of illnesses on May 5,2021, at the age of 82. She was born in Olton, Texas on January 1, 1939, the second daughter of four children born to Johnnie Spencer Elliott and Lula Weed Elliott.

Audry rejoins Floyd “Doc” Adair who were married May 15, 1959 and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on May 4, 1996, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They were blessed with two children, Pamela Adair Bray and Johnnie Nathaniel Adair who were also sealed to them.

Audry worked 35 years at Genes Frame and Alignment with her brother and sister-in-law Gene and Joann Elliott. She has always been a people person and greatly enjoyed working in public.

Audry’s children, grandchildren and great children were the pride and joy of her life. She has left a priceless legacy of photos, journals, genealogy, and numerous family ancestry books, which she created and was her passion. She will be forever remembered for her love of genealogy, crocheting dollies and scarfs plus sending cards continuously. She loved collecting statues of Christ and Angels, which surround her now in Heaven.

Previously departed, dearly loved grandson, Samuel Nathan Adair.

Surviving loved ones include her son, Richard Earl Adair, from previous marriage, Pamela Adair Bray, Johnnie (Nancy Ann) Adair, Eugene (Joanne) Elliott, David (Lee) Elliott, Nancy Elliott (John) Rector and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends. Last but not least, her beloved pet, Tippie.

Please join us to celebrate her life on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 11:00am, Bloomfield LDS Ward Chapel, Bloomfield, NM. Masks are encouraged please.

Internment will be at East Hammond Cementation where Audry will then be placed next to Floyd and family.
