Barton Donald Waldron departed this earth on July 8, 2021, with a far greater destination awaiting him. Bart was born in 1957 to Barton S. Waldron and Dorothy L. (McKinnon) Waldron. Raised in Albuquerque, Bart graduated from West Mesa High School in 1975. Shortly after graduating high school, Bart moved to the Four Corners area after accepting a job at the San Juan Generating Station. During this time of his life, Bart became the father to his four children: Bart Jr., Danny, Michael, and Erin. Bart also coached numerous youth baseball teams in Aztec, making an impact on countless lives. In 1996, Bart married Terrie (Maitlen) Waldron and gained two additional sons, Tim and Ryan. After a distinguished career as a welder at the San Juan Generating Station, a career spanning thirty years, Bart retired in 2006. Upon retiring, Bart began a passion of fly fishing and taxidermy work, among other similar outdoor pursuits. Most importantly, though, Bart would share with you that after retirement Jesus became King in his life. This truth would become Bart's greatest decision in life and the reason that, while his family and friends may mourn his passing, we do not grieve where Bart has now taken up as his eternal residence. Bart was preceded in death by his parents Barton S. Waldron and Dorothy L. (McKinnon) Waldron. Bart is survived by his wife, Terrie (Maitlen) Waldron; children Barton D. Waldron, Jr.; Danny (Anna) Waldron; Michael (Jennifer) Waldon; Erin (Tony) Meyer; Tim (Christina) Lane; and Ryan (Nicole) Lane; as well as twenty-three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brother Robert (Gail) Waldron and sister Anna (Leroy) Gurule. A memorial service will be held at 5001 N. Foothills San Juan Generating Station Dr., Farmington, New Mexico on Friday, July 16, 2021, at 3PM.
