Beverly Witt

Beverly Jane Witt, beloved mother and friend passed away January 19, 2023, from kidney failure. She was born on October 21, 1934, to Gladys and Frank Carner in Brainerd, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, brother, Richard (Dick), Eugene (Bud), husband, Robert, and numerous relatives and friends. She is survived by her sisters, Gloria Leikam, Donna Mahnker, and Joyce Blea, her sons, Ernest and Leonard, many nieces and nephews, and friends.

Beverly loved to sing and yodel; she had a beautiful voice. As a teen she won an appearance on talent shows; fate intervened with a blizzard, so she had to miss her chance. Music remained a big part of her life, from country to pop.

She loved to travel and see the sights. She visited many states, her favorites being Minnesota and North Carolina to spend time with family. Fishing was a favorite pastime of hers. Trout and catfish always make for a great meal at her house. She knew how to catch them too! She also enjoyed the casinos, local or Las Vegas and Laughlin. So many fun memories were made there.

Beverly had a heart of gold and treasured each and everyone she knew. If you needed anything she was there to do what she could. Her life was filled with family and friends who loved her so much. "I couldn't have asked for ama moreore loving and compassionate mother and friend."-Ernest Witt

Her laugh, her smile, her memory will always be with us. We're all blessed to have known a true angel.
