Billie Jean Grisingher

Billie Jean Grisingher, 98, of La Plata, New Mexico, passed away on April 6, 2024, in La Plata, New Mexico. Billie was born on December 17, 1925, in Appleton City, MO, to parents Joseph and Bella Ball.

Billie worked for California School System for 8 years before retiring to take care of her husband. Billie later started her career with F.W. Woolworth in the 1950’s. Billie never found the need to obtain a Driver’s License and always preferred Public Transportation. Billie was best known for always having a smile on her face and a willingness to help others.

Billie is preceded by her husband Joseph Florenz, daughter Barbara (Rod) Grosshans, parents Joseph ad Bertha Ball, and 6 brothers and sisters.

Billie is survived by her grandsons Christopher Grisingher, and Joseph Ray Smith, and great granddaughter Makela Smith.
