Bruce Joseph Holiday Sr. 70, of Farmington, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, in Farmington, New Mexico. Bruce was born on July 14, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio and attended John Adams High School. In 1971, Bruce married Deborah (Gilmour) and they had four children. In 1976, the family moved to Kirtland, NM where Bruce held various job positions in the Four Corners area to include Manager at Whiting Bros. and Parts Manager at Horace Nissan. Bruce married Kim (Bracco) in 1987 and they had two children. In 2001, Bruce moved to Eglin, Texas where he went to work for the Eglin Brick Company and the Holiday Cattle Company. Working with horses and livestock was one of his true loves. He was a true cowboy at heart and felt at peace while working with animals. In 2020, Bruce moved back to Farmington, NM due to health issues and the inability to live independently. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Holiday, his sisters, Patricia Blazenyak, Doreen Nowak, Kathleen Holiday, and his brother, Craig Holiday. He is survived by his sons, Bruce Jr. (Sara), John (Maryanne), and Shane, his daughters, Michele Cieslak (Tony), Angela Holiday, and Mary Passey. His grandchildren, Bryce, Caryssa, Cyla, Blake, Cassidy, Savannah, Tony, Hailey, Taelyr, Alexander, Katelyn, Lilah, and Alayna. His great-grandchildren, Max, Mia, Cal, Brooklyn, Brock, and Bronson. His siblings Jodie Slifka, Jacque Holiday (Dave), Nancy Holiday Cremisio, Sandra Podgorski, Neil Holiday (Gail), Roger Holiday (Loretta) and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Cedar Ridge Inn for providing care and comfort to him for the past 3 years. To respect his wishes, the family will hold a private service at the Holiday property in Arizona at a later date.
