Calvin Ford

Calvin Charley Ford (40) passed away July 2, 2023, in Westminster, CO. Calvin was born in Shiprock, NM on August 25, 1982, to his birth parents, Cecil Ford and Jacqueline Ellen Charley. Later, he was adopted and raised by Wilson & Agnes Ford. Calvin was born to the Naaneesht'ézhidine'é clan and born for the Naakai dine'e clan.

Calvin Ford attended elementary school in Arvada, CO at Thompson Elementary. In middle school he went to North Arvada Middle School. He attended Arvada High School for a few years. Later, he earned his GED at Denver Indian Center. Calvin was a very talented artist. He loved to draw and paint different pieces. Calvin won a contest and was displayed at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C.

Calvin also worked in the food service industry as a dishwasher or busboy.

Calvin loved to listen to music like Alternative, Rap, and Ska and he always looked forward to attending Warped Tour.

Calvin is preceded in death by his birth parents, Cecil Ford and Jacqueline Charley; his brothers, Manuel Ford and Luther Ford; and his grandparents, Ruth Ford, Juan Charley Sr., and Grace Charley. Calvin is survived by his parents, Wilson and Agnes Ford; his brothers, Wade Ford and Darrell Ford; his sisters, Roxanna Ellen Ford, Colleen Ford, Christine Ford, Tiffany Ford, and Cindy Ford.

Calvin will be laid to rest at the Kirtland Fruitland Cemetery on Monday, July 17, 2023, at 2:00pm.
