Carol Duvall

Carol Duvall 73, of Farmington NM, passed from this life on April 18, 2021, in Farmington NM. She was born on February 22, 1947, in Odessa Texas to Bill and Ann Cravens. She married the love of her life Paul Duvall on May 26, 1967, they had three boys. Carol was a homemaker, until the boys were old enough to stay on their own. She worked at Valley Bank as a teller, and then began her career as an ophthalmologist technician for Dr. Gordan and then Dr. Greg Allen at NM Eye Clinic for numerous years until her retirement. When diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, she remained dedicated to her family and in her will to fight and beat her illness. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, birthdays, and watching her game show, Wheel of Fortune. Her favorite past time was hanging out with her grandchildren and being their biggest cheerleader in all their accomplishments.


Carol is survived by her children: Paul Wayne Duvall II, Jeff and wife Kandice Duvall, Michael Duvall, and her grandchildren: Jeffrey Bon Duvall, Michael Duvall Jr., Chandler Duvall, Aaron Duvall, and Deseray Duvall. Carol is also survived by her brothers Don and wife Karen Cravens, nephew Chris Cravens, Art and wife Rita Cravens, niece Pam (Steve) Rogers, Lee (Sherry) Cravens, and numerous great nieces & nephews.


Carol is preceeded in death by her parents, Bill and Ann Cravens, her beloved husband Paul, granddaughter Layla Duvall, niece Kelly Cravens, and grandson Dallas Tre Stout-Duvall.


Due to COVID-19 a memorial service will be held this Summer in the La Plata mountains.
