Charles F. Sanford

Charles F. Sanford, 85, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on February 11, 2022. Charles was born on September 16, 1936, in Rutland, Vermont to parents Charles and Margaret Sanford.

His Passion was golfing and he was one of the founders of the Seagoing Marines. Organizing trips for it's members all over the country. To this date it has over 1,000 members and has placed plaques commemorating the members aboard 25 vessels. He was very proud of his work and was president over 10 years. He lived in Arizona the majority of his life and then moved to Farmington in 2016, where he peacefully passed away. He will be missed by eyeryone who knew him.

Charles is preceded in death by his wife Tillie Sanford, parents Charles and Margaret Sanford and brother Michael Sanford.

Charles is survived by his sons Chuck Sanford and Phillip Sanford, daughters Mary Large and Symphony Jones, and brother Jim Sanford, as well as 9 grand kids, oodles of great grand kids, and nieces and nephews.
