Charlotte Ann Curley

Charlotte Ann Curley age 57 passed from this life March 22, 2022, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family. Charlotte was born August 7, 1964, in Shiprock, New Mexico to Charlene Bylilly and David John. Charlotte graduated from Intermountain Indian School in Brigham City, Utah in 1983. She then went on to graduate with CNA training and certifications from Job Corp in Oklahoma City, OK. in 1986. Although she worked as a CNA for some time at Good Samaritan in Aztec, New Mexico; cooking was her passion and what she was best at. For 20+ years she served many kids that went that went through her lunch line, whether it was Height's Middle School or Kirtland Elementary...and she loved every one of them. Everyone gravitated toward her gentle smile, king eyes and pure heart. She was sharp, strong willed, never complained about her own burdens and was always willing to help. She was a great example to us all and we will truly miss her.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Curley and her grandparents, Eilene and Kee Bylilly. She is survived by her son Lionel Curley (Justina) her parents Charlene and David John, brothers Dewayne, Myron, and Tyrone Johnhat her sisters Charmaine Slater and her grandchildren, Elias, and Aiyana Curley.

Services will take place at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022, at The Oasis Ministries located at 1601 North Dustin Ave, Ste. B in Farmington, NM. Burial will follow at Kirtland Cemetery. A reception will be held after burial at The Oasis Ministries.
