Cheyenne Chris Archuleta

April 28, 1988 — July 4, 2024

Farmington

Cheyenne C. Archuleta, 36, of Farmington passed away on July 4, 2024, with his family by his side. In his passing, Cheyenne was surrounded by the same unconditional, deep love he had for others. Cheyenne was one of a kind, incredibly loving with a heart of gold. He loved deeply and was never unkind to anyone. If you knew him, you were immediately encompassed with genuine love. Cheyenne struggled throughout his life with self-doubt, anxiety and depression, but he never wavered in his compassion and love for his family and friends. He had a passion for being surrounded by those he loved. He loved the outdoors, one of his favorite pastimes was camping and fishing, especially with his family, and was an avid, loyal Cowboys fan. Cheyenne had the most contagious smile. He was a loving big brother and a wonderful son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. Cheyenne’s unwavering love and kind, genuine heart will live on forever in the lives of his family and the many people who knew him.

“To know Cheyenne is to love Cheyenne.” Cheyenne was bigger than the whole sky and shined brighter than the sun and the moon.

Cheyenne was born on April 28, 1988, in Farmington, New Mexico, a son of Chris Archuleta Jr. (Heide Archuleta) and Tammie Tapia (Rob Tapia), siblings, Anna-Marie Donald (Andrew Donald), Aubrey Tapia (Brittany Tapia), Melissa Martinez (Jacob Martinez), Lamount Archuleta, and Lindsey Best (Kolbe Best); grandparents, Vince and Rosie Atencio, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
