It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather David Ragsdale Biggs, who peacefully passed away at home on March 21st, 2025, at the age of 72 with his beloved wife by his side.
David was born on July 29th, 1952, in Chillicothe, Ohio to William F Biggs and Eleanor Tiffin Mc Callum Biggs.
David was a 1970 Graduate of Chillicothe High School; he went on to study to be a draftsman at the university of Cincinnati. David Served in the United States Army from 1972-1975 Stationed in Fort Hood Texas, where he earned the rank of Sergeant with the 41st Infantry Armored Division. David moved to Farmington in 1975, where he went to work in the local oil field, and later moved on to construction.
David is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Vickie Biggs. He is also survived by his brother Bob Biggs and his wife Nancy of Cincinnati, Ohio; his brother Scott Biggs of Indianapolis, Indiana; and his sister Sue Pope of Cincinnati, Ohio.
He leaves behind his sons: John Biggs and his wife Jamie of Cambridge, Ohio; Jonathan Southern and his wife Shana of Farmington, New Mexico; Steven Biggs and his wife Valarie of Denver, Colorado; and Kendall Southern of East Texas. His daughter, Kim Biggs, resides in Phoenix, Arizona.
David was a proud grandfather to four granddaughters: Laci, Alyssa, Mallory, and Jessica; and six grandsons: Ayden, Tyler, Adrian, Khalid, Gordan, and Dylan. He also had one great-grandson, Axell, with another on the way, as well as one great-granddaughter, Nena Bleu.
David is proceeded in death by his parents William and Eleanor Biggs, Brother Mathew Biggs and beloved Daughter Nikki Priddy
The family invites you to David’s celebration of his life on April 2nd, 2025, A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens, followed immediately by a memorial service at Calvary Chapel Farmington.
