Deborah Valdez

Deborah Ann Valdez (Treadway), loving Mother and Grandmother passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023, at the age of 68. She was born January 10, 1955, in Borger Texas to Charlie Cecil Treadway and Bobbie Jewel Dodson.

She was a stay-at-home mother and once her children were grown, she went to work as a store manager for 20+ yrs with Giant Industries. She loved to greet and hold conversations with anyone who crossed her path. Her grandchildren were the light of her world. She loved to attend all their sporting events, birthdays, graduations, etc., you name it she was there.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Bobbie Treadway, sisters Brenda & Glenda Treadway, Diana Maples, and brothers Jimmy & Keith Treadway.

Deborah is survived by her daughters, Misti Aragon (Michael), Amber Tadeo (Miqui) and son James Valdez Jr. (Jessica).

She had 8 grandchildren: Mikayla & Zakary Aragon, Alannah, Trinity, Isaiah & Isabel Valdez, Rochelle & Joel Tadeo. She is also, survived by sister Karen Treadway and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a viewing on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 10:00 am and service to follow 11:00 am at Sagebrush Church, 1501 Sunrise Parkway. She will be laid to rest next to her sister at Memory Gardens immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to help the family with funeral costs.
