Delfin Ulibarri

Delfin "Hocko" Alfonso Ulibarri of Bloomfield, NM passed unto heaven on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the age of 32. Delfin Ulibarri was the beloved son of Delfin Ulibarri Sr. and Liova Valencia born on August 24, 1988. Delfin was a 2007 graduate of Bloomfield High School and a 2011 graduate of Le Cordon Blue of Scottsdale, AZ. Delfin had a passion of cooking that he often shared with his friends and family.

Delfin was proceeded in death by his father, Delfin Ulibarri Sr. and brother, John Paul Ulibarri; his grandparents Alfonso (Doris) Valencia, Bertha (Rivera) Valencia and Peregrina Ulibarri; Uncle Joe Valencia; his cousins Nick Garcia, Francisco Rivera, Isaac Valencia and dear friends Shaun Yazzie and Santiago Sandoval.

He is survived by his beloved mother Liova Valencia, stepmother Kay Ulibarri; sisters Lysandra Ulibarri, Lucinda Ulibarri; stepbrothers Josh Welsh, Ben (Emily) Welsh; his aunts, Stella (Leroy) Garcia and Rebecca Valencia and several cousins. Delfin was very charismatic and was friends with everyone, leaving behind numerous friends who he considered family.

Catholic Rosary will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11:00 am at
St. Mary's Catholic Church located at 307 N Church Street in Bloomfield, NM. The funeral is scheduled to follow immediately after at 12:00 pm.

The family has asked that people wear blue and yellow, as Delfin was a proud Bloomfield Bobcat. COVID safe practices will be observed. Delfin Ulibarri is in the care of Farmington Funeral Home.
