Delfin Ulibarri

Delfin Ulibarri, 64, passed into heaven on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Delfin Ulibarri was the son of Peregrina Ulibarri of Las Nutrias, NM, born on May 13, 1956. Delfin was the beloved custodian at Bloomfield Schools for 27 years, and touched the lives of many students in Bloomfield.

Delfin was preceded in death by his mother Peregrina Ulibarri, son John Paul Ulibarri and cousins Jose Leon (Ramona), Ramos, Eddie, Epemenio, Everardo (Stella), Orlando, Gilbert Ulibarri, Tommy Martinez, Josie Samora and Rosendo Serrano Jr. He is survived by his beloved wife Kay Ulibarri and children Lysandra, Lucinda, Delfin Jr. Ulibarri, and step children Joshua and Ben (Emily) Welsh and mother of his children Liova Valencia.

He is survived by his several siblings and cousins including his dearest sister Stella (Leroy Gene) Garcia, Marcello (Rose) Ulibarri, Armando Ulibarri, Rosendo (Angie) Serrano, Felipe (Cindi) Samora, Antonio Samora, Candido Samora, Elaine Samora, Amelia Madrid, Erlinda Samora and his beloved aunts Bernie Ulibarri and Julia Ulibarri. He is survived by several nieces and nephews including Jennifer (Gene “Geno”) Garcia, Cheryl (Chris) Amador, Gene Garcia Jr., Melissa (Ricky) Mahan, Kenny (Sharon) Ulibarri and Shelly (Hal) Cage.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 1:00pm at Christ the Rock Lutheran Church located at 5401 Hood Mesa Trail, Farmington, NM. COVID safe practices will be observed. Delfin Ulibarri is in the care of Farmington Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Special Olympics of San Juan County
