Denise Marie Greenleaf, aged 49, a beloved resident of Aztec, NM, passed away on May 14, 2024, in Farmington, NM. She was born on May 1, 1975, in Durango, Colorado, to Dennis Archuleta and Mary Herrera.
Denise attended Aztec High School and later managed the Dairy Queen in Aztec. She cherished moments spent camping, fishing, and most of all, with her beloved grandkids. Denise had a heart of gold, known for her nurturing spirit, as she cared for everyone as if they were her own. She found immense joy in her role as a wife and mother, and her love extended to her nieces and nephews.
Denise is preceded in death by her father, Dennis Archuleta, her grandfather, Gilbert Martinez, her aunt, Ruffie Herrera, and her nephew, Adrian Archuleta. She is survived by her loving husband, David Greenleaf, her sons, Dennis Martinez and Damian Greenleaf, her daughter, Deja Greenleaf, her mother, Mary Herrera, her brothers, Micheal Archuleta and Dominiqui Archuleta, and her sisters, Melody Archuleta and Jennifer Flores.
A memorial service will be held at St. Joseph's in Aztec on Friday, May 24th, with a Rosary beginning at 10:30 am and Mass at 11:00 am. A reception will take place at the St. Joseph's Parish Hall immediately after the services.
Denise will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.
