Donald Earl Stock, a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, passed on September 4, 2024, in his hometown of Farmington, New Mexico, where he was born on January 19, 1945, to James and Lucy Stock.
Donald served and retired with honor as a Sergeant with the Farmington Police Department, dedicating many years to protect and serve his community. Prior to his policing career, he proudly served in the U.S. Army.
Beyond his professional life, Donald was a loving husband to his wife, Mary Stock. Together, they shared many joyful moments, especially their love for riding motorcycles.
Donald was a devoted father to his son, Craig Stock, and daughter, Nicole Simpson. He took great pride in his role as a father and grandfather, nurturing the bonds with his children and grandchildren through love, guidance, and shared experiences. His legacy of care and devotion will continue to influence generations to come.
Donald is survived by wife Mary Stock; son Craig Stock (Shanna) and daughter Nicole Simpson (Mike); grandchildren Aspen Hartwig (Zack), Dallin Stock, Ashley Simpson, Kierian Stock, Hunter Stock, and Maddie Nilsson; and his sister, Dorothy Witzman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lucy Stock, as well as his brothers, Gerald, Derald, Floyd, and Kelly Stock, and sister, Elizabeth Plank.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Craig Stock, Bill Nourse, George Vazquez, Zack Hartwig, Hunter Stock and Dallin Stock.
As we reflect on Donald's life, we remember a man who exemplified loyalty, love, and an adventurous spirit. He touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who had the honor to know him. His legacy will continue to resonate in the hearts of his family and friends, as we hold fondly the memories shared with a truly remarkable man.
