With heavy hearts we announce the death of E. Mark Welch 69, of Aztec on Tuesday May 25 due to complications of COVID, pneumonia and COPD. He was born to Fred and Martha Welch December 31, 1951.
Mark had several passions in his life including his wife of 36 years Becky, training race horses, raising animals, watching his daughters show animals and rodeo, and above all, his grandsons. Mark was a true cowboy, and his legacy lives on through his daughters and grandsons. His love for animals was unmatched, especially for his dogs.
Mark was an accomplished car salesman in Aztec and Farmington for many years. He was proud of his loyal following with his native American customers as he was affectionately known to them as, "The cowboy in the white hat."
Mark is survived by wife Becky, daughters Kacie and husband Matthew Serrano, Charlsie and husband Luis Vasquez, and Grand children Easten, Braxten, Bronx, Ella, and Izayah Serrano, Jaibren and Zaiden Vasquez. Brother Dusty Welch.
