Edith Whitecrow

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Edith Whitecrow, who left us on March 13, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on December 25, 1950, in Tohatchi, NM to Ben Thomas Sr. and Mary M. Thomas.

Edith is known for touching the lives of all who knew her with her jolly, happy spirit, unconditional support, and unwavering faith in God. She was a wonderful mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering laughter, wisdom, prayers, and abundant love. While we will tremendously miss her, we have peace knowing that she has been made whole in Heaven.

Edith is preceded in death by her husband Roni Whitecrow, parents Ben Thomas Sr. and Mary M. Thomas, brothers Benny Thomas, Davis Dave Thomas, Ben Thomas Jr., Ernie Manuelito, Jerry Manuelito, sisters Mary Ann Chewiwi, Julia Billiman, Brenda Thomas and granddaughter Emily Allyson Mitchell

She is survived by son Eric Thomas (Cheryl), daughter Feather B. Whitecrow (Junior), sisters Kathy Standingrock, Sandra Curley, Pearl J. Morgan, Charlotte Thomas, and Jackie Thomas, brothers: Conrad Thomas (Florella), grandchildren Kamilah (Andrew), Micah (Autumn), Tristan, Erica, Mario (Rylee), Tyler, Mason, Maddison, great-grandchildren Kaitlynn, Caden, Keedrin, and Fur grandchildren Gracie, Gus, Gemma, Toto, Lucy, Mia.

She was also “Grandma E” to many more.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday March 22, 2025, at The Oasis Church 1601 North Dustin Ave B, Farmington, NM 87401. Duane Bristow will be officiating the service. A reception to follow service.
