Evelyn Leona Darlington

Evelyn Leona Darlington, age 86 of Aztec, NM went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday November 1, 2024. Evelyn was born on December 1, 1937, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Thomas and Evelyn (Auge) Darlington. Evelyn spent most of her life as a supervisor with Ma Bell phone company. After her retirement she moved to Aztec, NM where her daughter Debbie joined her. She became an ordained Nun with the Holy Catholic Church of The Western Right, where she took the name of Sister Claire. Evelyn was very active at the church, and many other spiritual circles in the area. She enjoyed crystals, drumming’s, and fellowship. Evelyn will be missed by many friends, family and the community for her kindness, generosity, and service to others.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 23, 2024, from 2-5 pm at Fellowship of Spirit, 2009 13th St. Farmington, NM 87401 with the Rev. Sandra MacCready-Clark officiating.
