Ferde A. Ogren

Ferde A. Ogren, 88, of Farmington, NM, was peacefully called home by our Lord Jesus Christ on August 20, 2024. He was born in Duluth, Minnesota on June 7, 1936, and was the second youngest of 7 children. Ferde was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who deeply touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He was a very talented man who played the piano and organ beautifully, created gorgeous works of art and was an avid gardener. He was an outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish in the Four Corners area.

Ferde was preceded in death by his parents Louise Catherman Ogren and Nels Ogren; His brothers Norman Ogren, Forrest Ogren and Lester Ogren; his sisters Edna Mae Roggow, Ruth Terrill and Ione Ogren.

Ferde is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty French Ogren; his daughters Angela Ward (Ervin); son Westen Ogren (Josette); granddaughters Cassandra Ng (Paul) and Sarah Ward and great grandchildren Lydia, Elaina, James and Aubrey.

A private interment will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery. A memorial to Celebrate the life of Ferde will be held on October 5th, at 11:00 am at RiverStone Church, Farmington, NM. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to the American Kidney Fund: https://www.kidneyfund.org/
