Gage Bonnette

Gage Caemdon Dean Bonnette was born on March 28, 1997 and he passed away on February 15, 2023. He was the son of Rikka (Searcy) Bonnette and Jonathan Bonnette. Gage is survived by his parents, siblings, Haliee Voight-Bonnette, Kajia (Bonnette) Frank, Lachlan Bonnette, Brocke Bonnette, and Rory Bonnette, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandparents. Gage enjoyed surfing, reading about science, playing video games, having long discussions about how things worked, and doing as little work as possible to continue to do those things that he enjoyed. Gage was a Trinity K9 Search and Rescue team member and board member. He had a gift in working with animals, training dogs, and also a parrot that despised the rest of the family and loved him. Gage was artistic, and enjoyed taking photographs, but he didn't want to be in them. He also was talented in mortise and tenon barn building, which he learned from his uncle. He very much enjoyed sailing and traveling, and spent several years as a snowboard instructor, so that he could ride for free. Gage loved working on cars. Gage also mastered the art of riding carabao, in Guam where he became part of a second family, the Aguons. Gage was very loved, and he will be greatly missed.
