Danny Sullivan

July 23, 1954 — December 9, 2023

Danny Sullivan, 69, of Bloomfield, New Mexico, passed away on December 9, 2023. Born on July 23, 1954, in Farmington, New Mexico, to Bruce and Dody Sullivan. Danny was raised in Bloomfield, NM, and graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1972. Throughout his career, he worked for Southern Union Gas Co. of New Mexico, the Williams Companies, and Halo Services. Danny found joy in farming and ranching activities in New Mexico and Colorado, eagerly anticipating the arrival of new calves each spring and ample grass for their mammas. He cherished time with his family and connected with a vast network of friends both near and far. It was a rare occasion to travel anywhere in New Mexico or Colorado and not run into someone he knew and would to visit with. Whether known as Danny, Pete, or Nano, he was the same man we all loved and will miss!

Danny is preceded in death by his father, Bruce L. Sullivan. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Sullivan, son Trey Sullivan, daughter Lindsey Morin, mother Dody Sullivan, brother Mike Sullivan, sisters Teresa Lane, Toni Authurs, and Tami Page. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Mathias Morin and Olivia Morin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 15, 2023, at the First Baptist Church of Bloomfield. The service will be officiated by Craig Montroy, and burial will immediately follow at the East Hammond Cemetery in Bloomfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the following charities: New Mexico Baptist Children's Home, PO Box 629, Portales, NM 88130; San Juan County Fair Association in memory of Danny Sullivan; A Children's Charity of your choice.
