George Glynn

George “Kip” Glynn of Farmington, New Mexico passed into eternal life on June 15, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Clara Glynn and sister Barbara Jean Glynn. Kip is survived by his loving wife  Denice Cordova-Glynn, Laura Wood, Stephen Routt and Mirla Mendoza, Alicia and Brian Bixler, Sarah and Daniel Carney, numerous grandkids, son Ace Glynn,  his brother John Glynn Jr. and wife Kay, sister Mamie Glynn, brother Jack and wife Cathy Glynn, brother Tim and wife Kelly, and sister Ginger and husband Tony Jones.

Kip was full of life and a big teddy bear. He was born October 1, 1960 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to John and Clara Glynn. He was the youngest of seven children. Kip grew up knowing the value of hard work. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. After his service, Kip moved back to New Mexico. He made his career with M&R Trucking. . You knew if Kip liked you because he would tease you. His belly laugh would echo in any room. He enjoyed traveling and exploring new places. He was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.

Kip’s care is entrusted to Farmington Funeral Home 2111 W. Apache St., in Farmington. A Come and go viewing will be held Friday June 22, 2018 from 6:00-8:00pm.

A Memorial service will be held at 8:00 am Saturday June 23, 2018 at the Elks Lodge, located at 801 Municipal Drive in Farmington.

His final resting place will be the Santa Fe National Cemetery, in Santa Fe New Mexico on Wednesday, June 27th at 11:15am.
