Glenda Arlene Vandyck

Glenda was born October 23, 1954 in Aztec, NM to parents Mary and Lee Bodiford. She left this world on January 24, 2022 at age 67 to move on to a much greater place. Glenda grew up in Pinedale, Wyoming and Farmington & Aztec, New Mexico, where she graduated high school in 1972 and became a lifelong resident. She worked alongside her mother at the Aztec A&W and Apple Tree Inn for many years and later worked in the office of her brother's business alongside her daughter & nephew. Her most loved and rewarding job in life was as a mother. She was blessed with a loving daughter of her own in 1993, a role she also fulfilled for her nephew since 1985. During her time here she was a loving and amazing Mother, Sister, Daughter, and Tia. She also became "Grandma Tia" in October of 2020 with the birth of her great niece whom she adored. She had a lifelong love of animals and left this world sharing love with her 4 dogs and cat ( Missy, Bear, Daisy, Candy, and Doodles ) and her "grandpups" and "grandkitty" ( Coco, Emmy, Leila, and Rafe ). She is survived by her beloved daughter Katelyn, brother Dan (Troy Lynn), nephew Richard (Katrina) and their children, Aiden and Remington, Aunt Josie Sanchez, and many close cousins. She joins her parents Mary and Lee Bodiford in Heaven above. The Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday February 5th, 12:00PM at Farmington Funeral Home with a public viewing from 4:00PM to 4:30PM on Friday February 4th. The casket is to be closed immediately after the viewing. The care of Glenda's worldly vessel is currently entrusted to Farmington Funeral Home.
