Guido Ferrari, 66, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on February 18, 2023, in Farmington, New Mexico. Guido was born on November 18, 1956, in Gallup, New Mexico, to parents Guido and Esther Ferrari.
Guido dedicated his life to helping others, mainly in their sobriety. One of his greatest passions was dedicating his time and efforts to the friends of Bill W. At a younger age, Guido worked in the oilfield after which he found his place at PNM. He dedicated 21 years of his life to his career. Guido also met the love of his life, Roxelle whom he spent 33 years of his life with. He helped bring into this world his three children, Jody, Celeste, and Travis. . Later on, Guido shifted his career and focus to investment properties and construction in order to better allocate his time to his family. During his time as a landlord, Guido cherished many of the relationships he established with some of his tenants. Other passions of his included wood working, playing pool, Yahtzee, and going to the casino. He also enjoyed walking through the park and taking evening swims with his beloved dog Bella. One of the happiest days of his life was the day he finally learned he was going to be a grandpa, and he was even more elated when he welcomed his grandson into the family to carry on the Ferrari name. He was a great husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed by many.
Guido is Preceded in death by his parents, Guido and Esther Ferrari, sisters Evelyn Freelong, Amelia Perez, and Jeanette Lureas and Grandparents Alfredo and Seferina Chavez.
Guido is Survived by Wife: Roxelle Ferrari, son Travis Ferrari (and wife Lindsey Ferrari), daughters Celeste Ferrari and Jody Warren, brother Eloy Lueras, sister Dale Garcia and Grandchild Beau Ferrari.
Rosary and Viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 7:00pm, at Farmington Funeral Home, 2111 W. Apache St, Farmington, New Mexico.
Funeral will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 10:00am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 410 N Allen Ave, Farmington, New Mexico, Officiated by Father Tim Farrell.
