Harris Thomas

Harris Thomas, 59, of Farmington, NM passed away on June 1, 2024, in Farmington, NM. He was born in Shiprock, NM to Harry Jim Thomas and Annie Rose Police (Thomas). He was born to Hashtł'ishnii, Born for Honágháahnii.

Harris is preceded in death by his father Harry Jim Thomas, brother James Thomas, sister Deanne Thomas, Grandfather Lee Police and Grandmother Mary Gleason (Police).

Harris is survived by his wife Doreen K. Dannison-Thomas, son Emmett Thomas, daughters Rachel Thomas, Stacey Thomas, Mother Annie R. Thomas, brothers Herman Thomas, Henry Thomas, Harrison Thomas, sister Joanne Thomas and his grandchildren Dakotah and Aubrey Holiday. 

A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 9:00 am at Farmington Funeral Home, 2111 W. Apache Street, Farmington, NM 87401.

Interment will follow the service in Newcomb, NM at the Black House Mesa Cemetery.

A reception will follow at the Newcomb Chapter House. 

Pallbearers are Emmett Thomas, Eric Vigil, Michael Howe, Brandon Howe, Toby Nez, Styvan Yabeny and Daniel K. Dannison Jr.
