Hector Medina Sr.

Hector "El Chojas" Medina Sr.,71, of Farmington, N.M. left his place on earth to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday December 15, 2018, while surrounded by his loving family. Hector was born November 17, 1947 in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico to Julio and Belem Medina. He had seven brothers and two sisters, along with numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Hector moved here in 1964 and met his future wife Helen Salazar. Hector had five children, Belen (John) Supra, their kids Gary, Favian, and Jordan of Texas. Angel (Jason) Santos, their kids Keanu, Santana, Xavian, Tatiana, and Lily of Florida. Yolanda (Jeremy) Rivera, their kids Elisa, Samantha, Jeremy, and Armando of Farmington. Hector (Misty) Medina Jr., and their kids Marisa, and Angel of Farmington.Javier (Angel) Medina and their kids Gabriel, Andrew, Noah, Angelo, and Avianna of Farmington. Hector also had one great granddaughter Layla Medina.

Hector had a strong passion for Ford trucks, baseball, and spending time with his family. He is preceeded in death by his parents Julio and Belem Medina, brothers Manuel, Juan, and Rogelio Medina, and sister in law Cachis Medina. He is survived by his loving wife Helen Medina, daughters Belen Supra, Angel Santos, and Yolanda Rivera, sons Hector Medina Jr., and Javier Medina, brothers Joel Medina, Armando Medina, Julio Medina, and Javier Medina, sisters Chela Ballesteros, and Yolanda Medina. Numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.

Services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2100 E. 20th St., Farmington N.M., beginning Wednesday December 19th, with a viewing at 6:00 p.m., followed with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass service will be held Thursday December 20th at 11:00 a.m., again at St. Mary's Catholic Church and interment will follow immediately at Memory Gardens Cemetary  6917 E.
