Helen Lorraine Behr

 Helen Lorraine Wilkinson Behr, 98, of Farmington, NM passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024. She was born on August 26, 1926, in Rosco, CA, to William Herman Johnson and Genevieve Johnson.

Helen and her husband Don, who preceded her in death in 1986, lived in Live Oak CA for 40 years. She was a well known cake decorator for the community. She worked as a food service manager for Gridley School District for 17 years. She married Sunny Behr in 1990 and moved to Cottonwood AZ in 1994. Together they enjoyed traveling worldwide. Helen and Sunny moved to Farmington in 2005. Sunny died in 2007. Helen had many hobbies including painting, crocheting, knitting and quilt making. She made quilts for all her children and grandchildren. She also loved baking for friends and neighbors. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

She is survived by son Larry Wilkinson (Patty) of Anchorage, AK, daughters Sherry Kay Hansen of Leesburg, VA, Marianne Moseley of Loyalton, CA, and Louise Tso of Farmington, NM, sisters Marian Traina of Central Point, OR, and Ruth Bryan of Bakersfield, CA. Helen is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 3 great grands. 

Per Helen’s request, she will be cremated with private services planned in Live Oak, CA.
