Homer Lee Warren completed his journey on earth on April 11, 2024. Homer was born August 22,1932, in Borger Texas to Homer and Thelma Warren where he lived most of his childhood with 3 sisters, Joyce, Freda and Kay. He graduated from Borger High and went to work for Huber. He moved to New Mexico living in Hobbs and Albuquerque before moving to Farmington, NM where he completed his working career retiring from Arizona Public Service.
In 1971 he married Peggy Warren, and they would have celebrated 53 years of marriage this year. Homer always had a love for agriculture, rodeo, dancing and traveling.
Through Peggy's work he became an avid supporter of the Junior Livestock Sale at the county fair, he served on the Lee Acres Waterboard for over 10 years and was a part of organizing the Four Corners Credit Union in its day. Homer joined the Borger Texas Masonic Lodge in 1950 and received a 73-year membership recognition in 2023.
After retirement Homer enjoyed raising cattle, keeping a beautiful yard. He and Peggy enjoyed traveling the United States and cruising. When long trips became difficult, they kept their travels local with several mystery trips.
