Irene Jones

Irene Jones age 73 of Farmington, NM passed away on Wednesday August 28, 2024, in Albuquerque, NM. She was born on November 25, 1950, in Farmington, NM to Harry and Christine Jones. Irene was raised in the Four Corners area by her aunt Jayne Eaton after her parents passed away. All throughout her life she had challenges, but she overcame them with the grace of God until she was called home to her Lord and Savior. Irene was a person who could make you laugh in a room with her antics-just a kid at heart. She will be missed by many, and she is at peace.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Victoria Black and Lorraine Deon along with her grandmother Nellie Dick Peter. Surviving are her sister Blanche Werito and brother Harrison Jones.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Monday September 9, 2024, at Day 3 Church, 1111 S. Miller Ave, Farmington, NM with Pastors Bryan Corley and Benjamin Yazzie officiating. Interment will follow at 11:30 am in Greenlawn Cemetery, Farmington, NM. Followed by a Reception with the family at 12:30 pm at Day 3 Church.
