1972 Began banking career at First National Bank of Albuquerque. His career in banking continued at Bank of Montana System in Great Falls, MT and First National Bank of Farmington, NM as Sr. VP.
Jim’s hobbies included the design and building of 8 homes for his family, fishing and hiking in the mountains, photography, and landscaping and yard maintenance at his homes. Jim was the person in the neighborhood with the perfectly manicured grass and the first lawn to be green in the spring!
Jim met the disease of Alzheimer’s head on and demonstrated his love of family and Faith in God every step of the way. This was his destiny and he didn’t let it rob his spirit of thankfulness and joy; of time and activities with loved ones.
Life was a “team” effort and Jim was the leader until the end. His wish was to be a part of “life” publicly and privately, demonstrating love and compassion. He never missed an opportunity to say thank you or I love you, even during his last days with his family.
He was a man of quiet, steadfast Faith in God. He was ALL IN, knowing God was his compass during his entire life.
