James Routt

James Ralford Routt, 84 passed away at his home in Bloomfield, NM on March 7, 2023.  He was born August 28, 1938, in Hodgenville, KY to Claude and Lura Routt.

He is survived by his wife Diane Routt, son David (Paula) Routt, daughter Joanne (Dennis) Jones.  Grandkids Laura (Matt) Faix, Stephen (Mirla) Routt, Alicia (Brian) Bixler, Sarah (Daniel) Carney, Daniel (Kelley) Dame, Anna (William) Peters and Michael (Courtney) Dame, 23 great-grandchildren, sisters Mary (Don) Milby, Nada O’Bryant, sister-in-law Jackie Routt, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He is proceeded in death by his first wife Alice Routt, son Daniel Routt, parents Claude and Lura Routt, brothers Norman and Claude Routt Jr., and sister Thelma Brown.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the First Baptist Church Chapel of Bloomfield, NM. A viewing will be held at 9:00am, memorial service at 10:00am, and graveside services to follow immediately at Bloomfield Cemetery.
