Jason Nagl

Jason Brett Nagl, 54 of Aztec, NM., passed away November 11, 2021. He was born November 15, 1966 in Longmont, CO. to Alvin and Betty Nagl.
Jason was very proud of his time in the US Army. He served with the 709th MP Battalion, HHD Warrior Platoon, stationed in Frankfort, Germany. This was a hard-core male only unit that trained and competed in Ranger Competition. Jason received a Letter of Appreciation from the V Corps Commander for providing Personal Security detail for Colin Powell.
Jason attended Western Arizona Community College in Yuma AZ, Aims Community College in Greeley, CO and graduated from Metropolitan State University in Denver CO with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He worked full time (nights) and took a full schedule every semester to make his dreams come true.
When he wasn't in school, working, or spending time with his family Jason loved rebuilding muscle cars and drag racing at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison CO. He was so proud of his 69 Roadrunner that started as a "grasshopper hotel". Jason worked at Intermountain Construction for the past 15 years as a safety Manager. He was very thankful for the opportunity they gave him.
Jason enjoyed and became quite skilled at bowhunting, fishing, wood working, golfing, pretty much anything he tried, he was good at. Jason was also a giant Denver Broncos fan, attending many games over his lifetime.
Jason's humor, perspective, loyalty, love, discipline, planning and much much more will all be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by Father Alvin Alois Nagl, Mother Betty Ann Nagl and Brother Mark Michael Nagl.
Survived by, Daughter Stephanie Nagl (Kasper), Son Gavin Nagl, Brother Alan and Lynda Nagl, Aunt Mary and Uncle Corky Ballard, and the love of his life and Soul mate Denise Noyce. Jason was also the Bonus Dad to Tahylor, Erica and Morgan Noyce.
There will be a private service for family. Cremation will take place.
