Jimmie Dean Bowman

Age 63 of Aztec New Mexico joined our Lord and Savior March 16, 2022.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents Jimmie and Marcene Bowman. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Lois Bowman. Their children Kimberly and Seth Muth, Jimmie and Chatelle Bowman, and Devin and Amber Bowman. Grandchildren Kaitlyn Garcia, Ellie Bowman, Ethan Bowman, and Patience Muth. His brothers and sisters: Becky Thomas, Pamela Silcox, Darla and Todd Wilhelm, Darrell and Pam Bowman, Janice and Rick Hosack, Marsha Bowman, Stanley Bowman, Joan and Mike Turner and John and Marci Bowman. And many nieces and nephews.

Jimmie was a graduate of Shidler High School in Shidler Oklahoma in 1977. During his high school years he enjoyed playing football, basketball, and baseball. Jimmie and Lois were married in Newkirk Oklahoma in August of 1981. Through his over 35 years of service with ConocoPhillips his family moved from Oklahoma to settle in Aztec New Mexico. He enjoyed coaching his children in their various sports. He loved watching his grandchildren participate in sports, dance, and theatre. He enjoyed his traveling adventures with his wife. When his children were grown, often he would be found at a golf course providing plenty of laughs for friends.

Jimmie will be remembered for the endless laughs he provided his family. Jimmie taught his sons how to be loving husbands and fathers and instilled the core values for his daughter to find in a partner.

Jimmie will be laid to rest in Oklahoma, with services there to be held at a later date.

Services will be held at McGee Park, Farmington New Mexico on Wednesday March 23 @ 10am with a reception to follow. The family will receive visitors there until 6pm.
