Jim E. Tensfield was born on March 18, 1943, in Barstow, Oklahoma to Roy C. Tensfield and Grace O. Duff Tensfield. He passed away from this life on October 26, 2021 at his home. Having reach the age of 78 years old. He married Jan Dickson the love of his life on November 13, 1969 in Lubbock, Texas.
They would have been married for 52 years. They lived in Gobernador, New Mexico, where he worked for the Forest Service on the Carson National Forest Jicarilla Ranger District. They moved to Broaddus, Texas in 1979 where he worked for The Angelena National Forest Zavalla Ranger District until moving back to Gobernador, New Mexico in 1987. He retired from the Forest Service in December 1997 after serving for 33 years. They moved to Bloomfield, New Mexico in March of 1992 where they both reside. He loved to fish and go on hunting trips, he enjoyed cooking and loved his Facebook. He is survived by his wife Jan Tensfield and two sons Jon Tensfield and Jerry Tensfield. Cremation has taken place and a memorial will be at a later date.
