He met the love of his life, his sweetheart Paula at the age of 28 on a trip to Mexico with his Dad and family. When he saw her he knew she would be his bride and one year later he married Maria Paula Pereida on May 6, 1968 in Colotlan, Jalisco, Mexico.   They started their family traveling through New México, Arizona, Wyoming, and Utah. They settled in Utah for 27 years. Pancho worked at H.A.F.B. for 26 years and retired in 1997. Pancho moved to New Mexico to enjoy his retirement years. Pancho cherished his family and lived for his kids and grandchildren.  His greatest joy was his family. He spent many summers with the grandkids they were his constant companions going fishing and on his many food deliveries. He was always giving advice and teaching life values. Pancho was the original tamale man, he was well known all over Utah and New Mexico delivering Paula’s delicious tamales and burritos. Everyone looked forward to his morning deliveries.   Pancho enjoyed fishing, visiting people and talking to anyone who would listen. He enjoyed long drives and in his early years enjoyed camping and being outdoors. Where ever he was he enjoyed a good nap. Pancho loved his Spanish music and any chance he could dance he would. His signature look was sharp pants, dress shoes, bolo tie and fancy hats. He was always a well-dressed man. There was never a dull moment with Pancho. He was always on the go and up for any adventure. He was bigger than life and will be missed by all who knew him. “I love you all and be a good family”.
