Jose Archuleta

Jose Roldan Archuleta went home to meet his heavenly Father on Sunday August 6th, at the age of 77. He was born to Ponciano Archuleta & Anita Gallegos Archuleta on October 28,1945 in Durango, CO.

Roldan is survived by his daughter Juanita Edstrom, husband Mark; his brother, Gonzalo Archuleta (Patricia) and sister Joan Trujillo (Victor); his grandchildren Tara Lynn, Michelle Lynn, Jessica & Jacob White; two great grandchildren Luke & James White; and his former wife Francie Garcia. He has left behind several other beloved family members who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter Anita Archuleta.

Roldan graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1964. He was a member of local Labor Union 16, and continued to work in construction most of his life. He enjoyed watching basketball, football, and western films. In his younger years he took joy in horseback riding & fishing. He was an avid storyteller and truly loved making people laugh.

A rosary will be held at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Farmington, NM on Saturday, September 9th.
