Julia Stocker

Julia Ann Stocker, 81, of Fruitland, passed away on February 28, 2018. Julia was born on July 18, 1936 in Northumberland, to Frank and Mary Carire. Julia retired and moved to the Fruitland area in 2012. She occupied her time here knitting hats for newborns which she donated to local hospitals taking classes and enjoying her family and friends. Although she faced many obstacles, she had the strength to continue on and make the most of her life.

A local celebration of her life is being planned. She is survived by daughters Faith (Ken) Miller of Virginia, Robin (Richard) Conley of Pennsylvania, Chris (Randy) Amberman of Kirtland, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
