Kalob Cruz

Kalob Jesse Cruz, 19 of Farmington, passed away on March 31, 2021. He was born on May 28, 2001 in Farmington, NM.
Kalob graduated High School from Piedra Vista in 2020. He was a loving uncle who worked as a laborer in the construction industry. Kalob enjoyed basketball, hunting, camping, gaming and rapping. Everyone referred to him as a "Lady's Man."
He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his Great Grandma Lucy and his Uncle Chris Gonzales.
Kalob is survived by his parents Joe & Julia Cruz and Jesse & Paige Escojeda; brother Eric Cruz; sisters Ashley Grijalva, Francisca Anchondo, Serenity Escojeda, Sontonita Escojeda, Jessie Escojeda; nieces and nephews Zoey and Odin Cruz, Isaiah, Leah, Josiah, Miah and Amayah Grijalva; grand parents Ralph Cruz, Joe & Marquita Early, Rudy Escojeda and Maria and Steve Garcia.
There will be a viewing at 4pm on Friday, April 9th at Farmington Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 10am on Saturday, April 10th at Bloomfield Assmbly of God Church, with Pastor Alan Wolfard officiating. The graveside will follow the service at St. Rose of Lima Church in Blanco, NM. Pallbearers will be Eric Cruz, Isaiah Grijalva,Kim Escojeda, Josh Carrillo, Stefuan Blackie, and Angelus Blackie. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Escojeda, Ashley and Jesus Grijalva, Ibeth Cruz and Jeremiah Cruz.
