Karolyn Hines

May 7, 1954 — November 10, 2022

Karolyn Day Hines, 68, of Farmington graduated to glory with her savior Jesus Christ and her parents on November 10, 2022. Karolyn ran her race and finished her course; II Timothy 4:7 "...death is swallowed in victory." Born in Crane, TX to Bill and Jean Day. Karolyn always had a zeal for life and was often referred to as 'the life of the party.' While in high school, she was a majorette in the marching band. As an adult, she was an avid softball player and bowler. Karolyn had a huge heart and loved her family deeply, she married young and had her only son, Jeremy Hines. Professionally she was an accountant at the family business, Jean Day Bookkeeping, and kept the business running after her mom went to heaven in 2002. Karolyn has had to endure a rough road due to illness and in 2010, she retired as a result of blindness. Despite her circumstances, Karolyn finished her days as a powerful intercessor, who like her dad, enjoyed singing. In her later years, Karolyn attended church services via the radio, listened to her Bible daily and never missed an opportunity to listen to a Connie Mack World Series game.
