Kathleen Regina Lang

Kathleen R. Lang of Farmington passed away on September 16, 2024, in her 86th year. Born January 11,1938 in Manhattan NY, moved to Jackson Heights, Queens and lived there with her parents. After high school she worked as a secretary for Franklin National Bank. She then married John, and they moved to Levittown where they raised their 6 children.

 As a homemaker for many years, she always did everything to perfection, whether it was sewing handmade Halloween costumes, baking and cooking for school events, family or neighborhood parties and even family dinners. There was also a time when she stayed up all night typing a 36-page term paper for one of her children.

 After she divorced, she moved to Freeport NY. She started as a Temp at European American Bank and worked her way up to AVP. She retired at 62 and moved out to Riverhead NY. After some health problems she went out to New Mexico to live near her daughters Kathy and Donna, who selflessly took care of her so that she could remain in her own home.

 Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Thomas Ahearn and her brother Thomas F Ahearn. 

Loving Mother of Karen (John), John (Laurie), Barbara (Al), Kathleen (Ed), Donna (Wes) and Steven (Genna). Cherished Grandmother of Kelly (Tom), Kristen (Ryan), Kathleen (Matthew), Steven, Kevin (Maggie), Timothy, Zachary, Megan, Erin and Matthew. Beloved Great Grandmother of Carter, Jacob, Emma, Aleaha and Hailey.

 There will be a funeral mass Friday October 4, 2024, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Farmington, preceded by the recitation of the holy rosary at 9:30AM. Columbarium immediately follows in the garden. Reception to follow
