Kristina Jo Basher, 57, of Aztec, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 29, in Albuquerque. She was born in Durango, Colo., on June 1, 1960 to Buck and Evelyn Wagner.

Kristina enlisted in both the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. She served in Desert Shield/Desert Storm as a helicopter electronic repair tech & transportation specialist. Kristina enjoyed horseback riding, shooting, softball, baking, crocheting and gardening.

Kristina is preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Jo Wagner and brother Russell Buckley Wagner. She is survived by her husband Steve W. Brasher; her son Bryce Basher; her father Buck Wagner; her brothers Chip Wagner, Bob Breed, Ben Breed, John Breed, Rick Breed; a sister Caroline Lee; and one granddaughter, Karisma N. Lewis.

Services will all be held on Friday, Nov. 10. A visitation will be held at 11:30 a.m., at Farmington Funeral Home. A funeral service, officiated by Gene Chapin, will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., also at Farmington Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Memory Gardens.
