Larry Dean Harris

Larry was born in Paris, Texas on Aug 15, 1946. He left school at the age of 13 to work to help support his family. Extremely intelligent and hard working, over his lifetime he became an expert welder, pipefitter and millwright. His generous nature and nomadic lifestyle allowed him to have many friendships all over the country. 

His passion was flying, leading him to attain a private pilot’s license. Even after his health would no longer allow him to fly, he shared many memories of flying with friends and loved ones. 

On March 1, 2023 he took to flight, never to be grounded again. He was a good man. 

He is preceded in death by his life companion, Loretta Billinger. He is survived by his son Larry (Trish) Harris, daughters Lynette (Dan) Dombrowski and Yvonne (Boomer) Geisler and grandchildren Garrett, Skye, Maia and Skyye.
